Hand Made in England .
Classic double sided fabric with check on the outside and plain on the inside. The two layers of fabric are woven together.
Fabric designed and made in Tuscany, Italy this is a wonderful fabric from a better age.
The checks are balanced throughout the design with the pockets and saddle shoulder being cut on the bias so that the bias checks cut across the body checks- see image for details..
The fabric is an 70: 30 mix of recycled wool and poliamides. The use of recycled wools significantly reduces the footprint of our manufacturing processes.
The poliamides reduces the risk of pilling on the outer fabric.

Two piece `pancake` hood folds flat when not in use.
The hood is adjustable around the face with slider and buttons.
Detachable throat tab.
Closures are real leather thongs with real horn toggles.
Concealed zip front for extra protection.
All seams are bound with tonal edging fabric.
Twin patch pockets and interior wallet pocket.

This coat is awesome in every way. I was sick of buying garbage made in China and Turkey sold here in America. I wanted an outstanding coat made well. I purchased this coat(the med length duffel coat) and was thrilled to open the package which shipped in 3-4 days from England. The fabric is beautiful and colorful, the lining is not some flimsy satin or polyester like you get here in the U.S.but a complementing color of wool. I love the huge pockets outside and in. I have never owned such a great, well made coat and I will definitely be ordering one or two more in different colors. My mom and daughters love it as well and want to purchase one. Really well made coat. I am so happy to have found this company.

This coat is exactly what I was looking for. Classic coat from an original company in England. It's like buying new vintage. I got a great price on it, and it's roomy enough to add a thin down vest when the weather gets below 20 degrees.
